Scope & Content: A receipt for the The Acadia Dairy Co., Limited.
Description: A square piece of white paper. From the top of the page to the bottom it says, OFFICE AND FACOTRY: WOLFVILLE, N. S.   TELEPHONE 542-2217. Underneath in larger letters it says, THE ACADIA DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED. The next three lines underneath in smaller letter centered to the page it says, INCORPORATED 1894 Manufacturers of "ACADIA BUTTER". Underneath that on the right hand side of the page is a space for the store clerk to writ ethe date, it says WOLFVILLE, N. S. with an underline for the date, which is Oct 17, 1964. Underneath that to the left hand side is a place for the clerk to write the name of the patron, it says, SOLD TO with an underline for the name, which is Men's Club St Johns Anglican Church. Underneath that is the remaining 60% of the page which turns into loose leaf. In the loose leaf section is a summary of the expenses. the first three lines from top to bottom say, To; 4qts homo  .22 1/2  .90,   2 pts blend .20  .40,   6 bottles  .10   .60   1.90. Underneath the expense summary is a stamp in blue ink that says, RECEIVED PAYMENT With Thanks ACADIA DAIRY CO. LTD. Within the stamp written in pen is the date and a name, it says in cursive, Jan 16/65, the name is illegible. underneath the stamp written in pencil it says in cursive, Paid By Cheque.
