Narrative: Harry Cook was born 12 March 1929 in Bridgewaer, the son of Ralph Scharader and Olive Cook.  Owned Cook's Oil Company Ltd. after his father started as agent for a petroleum company.  Harry Cook incorporated the business in 1966 and took over after his father died.  Harry eventually sold business to Imperial Oil.  Harry Cook married Constance Williams (1927-1977). Then  married Thelma (Doyle) Sperdakes.  Family lived on Victoria Road,  Queen Street, later moving to Dublin Avenue, Bridgewater.  Harry Cook served on Bridgewater Town Council as a councillor 1974 to 1976 and was elected Mayor and served from 1976 to 1988.
